Inter-School Music Competition 2018-19

Judges:

The 3 judges for the event were Ms. Divya Venugopal, Ms. Sriparna Chatterjee and Mr. Harshit Gupta.

Ms. Divya Venugopal is a Mumbai based singer and song writer. She has trained in Hindustani Classical Music under Padmabhushan Ustad Gulam Mustafa Khan Sahab. She was a runner up at the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (Zee TV) contest & project Aloft star contest at MTV Asia. She has done playback singing for Malayalam films & sung jingles for Kwality Walls, Priya Gold Biscuits, among several others. She has also travelled across the globe & performed with Anandji of Kalyanji-Anandji fame. She is currently working with a renowned sound engineer Mr. Ashish Manchanda.

Ms. Sriparna Chatterjee is a Hindustani classical trained singer. She has been working as a music therapist for REACH school at Vile Parle for the last four years. She is also a composer and Asha Bhosle has sung a song composed by her. She has also recorded with stalwarts like Shaan, Udit Narayan, and Richa Sharma. Outside of her interest and work with music, she is a practicing theatre artist and storyteller and has been working with Gillo Repertory and Story Circus, apart from other productions of theatre.

Mr. Harshit Gupta is a composer, teacher, and facilitator. An MBA in Marketing & HR, he also holds a Visharad in Indian Classical (Vocal), a Senior Diploma in Guitar, Keyboard & Tabla, & a Diploma in Electronic Music Production. He founded RSIM (Rhythm Soul Institute of Music & Fine Arts) in 2011 at Indore which provides online courses to students from various cities in India. RSIM also serves in Bhopal and Mumbai. He has trained over 3000 students in his career and over 100 students are currently affiliated with RSIM.
